On a regular basis, people ask me if I think the real estate market can get any worse, or they ask, “Do you think this is the bottom of the market?” My answer is always the same; if you’re thinking about selling or buying, the time is only right when it feels right for you. 

Sure, general pricing could go lower, but interest rates are rising and that offsets lower pricing. The most important number to consider when buying real estate is the monthly mortgage payment – you need to live with this payment amount for a long time. 

When it comes to selling; it’s no secret that owners want top dollar, but, expectations need to be realistic, and that’s where I come in. It’s my job to deliver factual information and it’s not always pleasant, especially in difficult times.

Simply understand that if you’re selling to step up or downsize, you’ll be selling and buying in the same market; sell low - buy low, sell high – buy high, either way the process balances out.
